When is the best time to travel to Koh Kho Khao?
The rain season varies slightly from year to year. However, the weather is usually at its best between October and mid April, with less rain and lower humidity. . 

Where is the best place to book flights and car rentals?

Do I apply for a visa to enter Thailand?
No. On stays of less than 30 days, Visa is not required. If you stay more than 30 days you will have to pay a fine for each day at the sum of approximately  50,- NOK. We recommend that you apply for an extension of visa if you are planning for a stay longer thant 30 days. 
NOTE: It is important that your passport is valid at least 6 months after returning home.

Currency exchange?
The nearest ATM is in Phang Nga and Khao Lak. All major credit cards are usually accepted. It may also be wise to bring some cash to be able to exchange locally if needed. The exchange rate is also favorable in Thailand compared to foreign currency.

How do I get from the airport to Paradise Villa?
We recommend that transportation is arranged to collect you at the airport upon arrival. This will speed things up and you will avoid problems related to language barriers and misunderstandings. The travel time from the airport to Paradise Villa is about 2 hours.

Do you have sun beds?
Yes! Sun beds are included in the rent.

Do I have to bring beach towels?
No, this is not necessary. It is available from us.

Is Paradise Villa close to the beach?
The villas are situated right on the beach. The villas are located between 30 – 100 meters from the beach.

Is it possible to watch movies in the houses of Paradise Villa?
All houses are equipped with a region free DVD player that will play most formats.

Are internet available?
Yes! The restaurant on site has internet.

Can I bring electrical appliances and use them in the house?
All our houses use the same power outlets as in Norway/Germany etc.

What services are available at Paradis Villa?
Our friendly staff can arrange almost anything for you, everything from arranging  transportation to laundry, organizing trips, etc. Just ask, they are more than willing to be off assistance.

How is the beach and the water temperature?
The beach is soft and fine. The water is shallow and ideal for children.  Water temperatures range between 24 – 30 degrees all year around.

How are the pools?
We have a beautiful childrens pool which is protected and easily visible located in the middle of the residential area. Down by the beach is our large and inviting swimming pool with water slide for the bigger kids. There are also free sunbeds available.

How about shops and restaurants on the island?
There are 10-12 restaurants , some shops and tailors where you can buy almost anything you need for your holiday. If you want to go shopping, we recommend that you travel to Khao Lak on the mainland. It takes about 20 minutes by ferry and minibus to get to Khao Lak.

What kind of activities do you recommend?
We recommend to hire a longtail boat, go on excursion to Koh Pratong (Buddha island) and Koh Pha to snorkleand explore the coral reefs. Contact our friendly staff to arrange activities suitable for your wishes.
